SALV didn't look particularly competitive when I did look (misc.invest.stocks in '95 or early '96..... before H. pylori, but I wrote some not-so-flattering opinions of the HIV program). Hope you haven't ridden it all the way down. I saw something relating to a private placement? I'd try to find out who the investors are by doing an Edgar search and see if they've ever actually turned anything around? Sorry I can't be of more help. Tough business, technically adept competitors that are still struggling to make money. Ever looked at BioStar (private, merging with CRTQ)? Strangest merger I've ever seen. It's so bizarre that someone should look at it. Maybe something is up. BioStar is Biota's partner for a rapid flu diagnostic. Rick
