I agree.
Players want to play fast and be as light as possible.
Equipment is much lighter today as well.

Did you see the collision on the KO in the GB/AZ game last night and I believe the tackling player had knocked himself out. Crazy high speed collision

I think eventually we will stop having Kickoffs and Punts, A lot of injuries occur when players run full speed and have full speed contact.
