Is this news? Received new PC Connection catalogue in mail today. IOM has four-page w/foldout spread inside front cover. Shows "buz" and "Ditto Max" and "ZipPlus"--all billed as "NEW!". Plugs "zip built-in" logo. Impressive. What's the scoop on these "new" products? Long and ridin' it out, SWAMI

Is IOM stuffing the channel? I went into my local Best Buy the other day and they had Zips everywhere. It seems to me there is a difference between keeping your vendors well stocked and stuffing the shelves. The last time I was this is COMS/USR with x2......which by the way inventory is down of modems at the store. I asked about the Mythical internal drive and always get the same response....haven't had them in months. All I see is Parallel port Zips everywhere and ten deep at that. Isn't Iomega sending mixed signals to their customers when they push "Zip Built in" but only supply an external at retail? Jeff

re: <<remember the jazz 2 and buzz is scheduled for the 16th....all looks good....>> I would like to see them meet this date but that's ETA ( estimated time of arrival ) don't want to rain on the parade but they aren't on the truck yet. ( Their system also tells how many are on the trucks, they start trackng inventory once it's on the truck. ) I wouldn't be alarmed if they didn't quite make the 16th, it's not that big of a deal as long as they can get them out early enough in the quarter to make a contribution.
