There was a big lefty from DC named Baba Davies, he came to Chicago with his sister who was doing her residency here. He was the Superheavyweight Golden Glove Open Champion of DC, he trained with Adrian Davis's stable of fighters... Anyways, he comes into my gym here in the suburbs of Chicago...a forest preserves is the veiw out the windows here...he says..." man! a boxing gym with windows!!! you'd never see that in DC man, you'd have guys doing drive-bys all day, 'couldn't get no trainin' done dodgin' all those bullets!" Unfortunately, the same is true just 20 -30 miles away from here! Pugs
