All, QCOM just announced earning reduction due to cancelled orders from S. Korea. When it was asked about the Asian effect, Q said it's not big of a deal. Now, it looks like a pretty big deal. I think more and more companies will come out with similar statement. Given CYMI's 90% revenue from Asia, I think $0.10 - $0.15 reduction may be optimistic. Keep in mind in October's CC, CYMI said it had 2 quarters worth of backlog. The only interpretation is there has been major cancellations. Cautiously long with reduced shares.

You mentioned PLAB and PAIR as having similar charts.

I have two questions on fundamentals if you know.

Pairgain management is is sweating bullets over a new competing DSL technology from some company in Japan. Do you know what that is?

PLAB has less advanced technology and sells for a higher p/e than does DuPont Photomasks. Why would you not prefer DPMI. Is the chart less attractive?
