I am in total agreement. What really amuses and annoys me is when the analyst are painting such a rosey picture, by upgrading stocks/sectors when they are at highs.

Something that I have thought about, is whether any bad news is priced into the market. Is the Clinton issue, or Saddam, or the Asian Flu or the possibility of 1st quarter's numbers being bad, priced into the market now, in light of the market basicly being at the all-time high/close to it. If none of these are now incorporated into the price of the market - boy oh boy! Watch out below.
