I <still> think Gov DeSantis is exactly where he needs to be for two terms (barring something bad happening to PDJT). PDJT is going to need strong support from States to get the MAGA policies to stick. The States (and People) have to take back their powers (all not expressly enumerated in the Constitution).....and the Deep State has to be dismantled....different jobs, but same end result, and State autonomy will be key.
