Inflation 6%, 10y yield 1.5%, S&P500 PE = 30, crypto market cap 3T$. Rivian has no profits, no revenues, has sold zero vehicles, and is worth 70B$. People whose core competence is designing thong bikinis in various colors (tangerine, midnight, skin-tone) think they can build EVs. 6 - 1.5 = minus 4.5% real yield. I am 28% cash, in spite of large recent purchases of Chinese internet stocks. If stock inflation continues, I would be happy to go to 40% cash.
