Curious. I have heard that sane people think this way but I have never met one. The general theory is to short, say GE....coincidentally I did this morning but I have been getting hammered so....because it has a weak Relative Strength compared with the OEX. So yes. I agree completely. If you are in the camp that the market sells off, the "safe" play is to "put" one of the weak DJIA stocks. BTW. Where have you been? I've been talking about this stuff for years and all the SS people ever say is "Andrew Vance for President". Hansen and I have been putting AV mail bombs together but that's another story....
