I was skeptical about it at first until I finally sat down and watched the entire video numerous times. I started out with a strong belief he was guilty. But with the context of the video -- and a lot of rewinding and replaying, I could see that the kid was trying to help injured people and to do that you had to be armed and ready to defend yourself.

It is worth noting that ambulance personnel will not enter a situation like that: They are ordered to "hold short" until cops can clear the area. So, he was there trying to help people who really would not have received help otherwise.
I hate he got himself into this but I don't think he did anything wrong.
