I agree. MSFT is acting like the monopoly it is. The best indication of that is its attitude. When the DOJ announced they were filing to stop their bundleing of the browser, MSFT publicly said " the heck with Janet Reno." Now, when a company thinks the govenment is irrelevent, they have lost perspective.

I still say that MSFT is the best investment around for the long term, but thats just my opinion with no basis. I think that they are going to be broken up, so therefore investors will get equivilent shares in whatever it is broken into. Since they dominate a lot of the computers
and have a huge base, they will continue to make a lot of money. Kind of like ATT. But I agree with you, they are losing friends fast, and there is little support for Bill's Vision of the Internet being the only game in town.
