Some in the USA will wait until Jan1 or later, to delay taxes...unless they're afraid of higher tax rates for next year...other countries, or tax advantaged accounts might want to be ahead of a potential rush

Hows that for an inflation hedge? Errr... profitless currency backed by nothing but faith and greed... 38,000 today, 43% loss. But hey even in a ponzi scheme someone makes money.
