It would have been a debacle. How fortunate KC were to be facing Love......

Mahomes looks terrible these last few weeks.....

It's just the difference in the ability to process information quickly. When the other team is blitzing 1 or 2 people on nearly every passing play, you need to see that and adjust the call. I couldn't see Love doing that. The one time I saw him try, the ball got snapped to him as he was walking up to the line to check out of the play.

There are not too many defensive coverage schemes that surprise Rodgers, so he can identify things quickly and adapt in the 2.5 seconds QB's have to do that. You blitz Rodgers, you pay dearly.

The game was just moving too fast for Love. They tried to help him with roll-outs and things like that, but it was all just too much for him to handle.

He needs time to adapt to the speed of an actual NFL regular season game.

Love's arm is nothing like Rodgers' arm, but whose is? Maybe Matthew Stafford is close.
