Hi Bob, A few days before Christmas I stopped by my local Subaru dealer servicing. Right off the bat I was shocked to find plenty of parking available on the usually jammed lot! After dropping off my car at the service department for an oil change, I wandered over to the new car showroom and was astounded to find it totally devoid of vehicles! The sole occupants were a few mummified human skeletons covered with dust and cobwebs, sitting at a table against one wall. With great trepidation I approached these poor wretches and briefly woke them from a deep catatonic state. They informed me that they had sold all the cars in the showroom, and that things would get even worse before they got better. Then they asked me if they could buy my car from me, so they would have some inventory again! Last week I checked the dealer's website and found that they had only six new (6) vehicles in stock. Today it's down to three (3). And this is a large dealer! Crazy, huh?
