According to Mr sun tze (tzu), running away is a good strategy, but not going might be even better Had the professor sported a weapon and shot the legs from under his attacker, he might well be prosecuted for use of un warranted deadly force w/ intent to kill, and for carrying a deadly weapon w/ intent to use.
