Washington - "What's probably important about this evening is decorum," said ABC anchor Peter Jennings as he arrived as a guest at Thursday's White House dinner for Prime minister Tony Blair and wife Cherie.... "The guests dined on a menu influenced by both countries' cuisine: honey mango glazed chicken, grilled salmon, baby vegetables and strawberries. Trays of cookies surrounding chocolate replicas of Big Ben followed dessert. "The wines included a Newton 1996 California chardonnay, a Swanson Sangiovese red from the Napa Valley and Mumm Napa Valley DVX 1992 sparkling wine." USA Today Decorum will be important at the feast Christians will be attending at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, Jesus. The decorum will consist of authenticity at its highest level. No superficiality nor pride in ones looks, dress, or accomplishments Appreciation for the atonement with anthems of praise will be conveyed to our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We will be toasting the saints of the ages with the new wine that has been provided by the greatest wine-maker known to mankind---Jesus!!! Our menu will be provided by the Master Chef. Heroes of faith will be there: Abraham, Jacob, Elijah, Elisha, David, Isaiah, Nehemiah, Peter, Paul, Mary, The woman at the well, Elizabeth, Naomi, Paul, Barnabus, and a host of others that by faith and the saving grace offered and accepted by countless thousands throughout the generations of all history. Hitler will not be there. Stalin will not be there. Nero will not be there. Nor a host of people that declined his grace and mercy and persecuted believers throughout history. Let God Be True. He cannot lie. It is impossible for him to lie. Our banquets here are at best paltry compared to the up and coming banquet...all are invited to attend...your ticket? Being born again. An authentic confession of sin and acceptance of Jesus into your life. John 3:16 says it all. Jack
