Well I caught the rona two Saturdays ago. My daughter had caught something earlier in the week and tested neg. We had very similar symptoms so I didn't think much of it that is was more then the flu, plus having a neg covid test the prior Thursday to enter a facility. I woke up with scratchy throat on the 6th and I put the horse paste and vitamins to me, but still had chills, fever and aches all day Saturday. I felt good enough after the first day to go out and get some fall chores done on Sunday. Well that was mistake, Sunday night it hit me again. I finally tested on Monday after wife wanted to know since she takes care of a new born baby. Wham, home test (Abbott) went positive before the solution could get to the control. The same test my daughter took, she tested 2 other times, rapid and PCR, still neg. She doesn't live with me. I'll say the best thing besides vitamins and the horse paste is to get good rest. I failed to do that and it lingered, seeming to cycle from feeling at 80% to 50%. After taking 3 days of just straight rest and getting 12+hrs sleep/day, it has finally gotten to just being congested. Had taste and smell for a while, but it's gone now. Now I have the natural immunity, I plan on getting antibody test next week for confirmation. I'm not on any official positive list since I never had a test at lab.
