HI Kidl,

On my 14th birthday I got my first black lab Duchess. She had two litters of purebred lab puppies. 10 puppies each litter.

After I was married we had one black lab and one yellow lab.

Then we began to travel a lot. My parents were in need of more care and work life in general. Travel was difficult having a dog.

We now have two homes and 6 cats.

When we sell our Houston home, we'll make our 40 acre country home in Wisconsin our permanent home till old age hits.

Then I'm going to find a red colored yellow male Labrador.

I'm going to call him shadow, cuz that's what he's gonna be to me. <smile> So the dream goes anyhow. LOL

When someone says a "dog is man's best friend", I see a Labrador.

When a dog serves in a military role, I believe his trainer should retire with that dog. I may be ignorant of the problems, but it seems that selfless bond should be honored.
