The re-broadcast of today's conference call will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Eastern time today and will be available for three business days. Domestic
participants should dial, 800-633-8284 -- reservation number 3841892.
International participants should dial, 303-248-1201 -- reservation number
3841892.

I think folks should listen to the confernence call and draw you own conclusion.

As I'm a bit rush for the moment; in summary: In light of recent events (last week) QCOM choose to give a heads up at this time. Problem is primarily with Korea's slowdown in ASIC's and no market for the Q phone at this time.

If you listen to the entire call the expect a U shaped recovery as opposed to a V in Korea. They expect Korean manufacturer's to export a great deal which will be more beneficial for royalties. However the internal Korea market is in the tank.

Also the 800 Q is delayed until 3rd Q due to testing and acceptance by FCC.

Frankly, they are issuing a early warning due to circumstnaces that presented itself last week that they felt was significant to issue the warning. They at this early stage aren't totally sure what the results are but decided for now to use 2 Q (last year) as guidance for this upcoming 2Q. It's not a total loss of business, but slowdown in anticipated growth.

As to trading today............ down..... how much........ all guess are as good as any.
