I would not say the disposal of the nuclear waste has been flawless, Robert.

There are huge amounts of spent fuel rods being stored on site at nuclear power plants because there is nowhere to go with them.

The delays in opening Yucca Mountain are causing nuclear waste pileups all over the US, which is hazardous and dangerous as the containers age and are subject to leakage.
