That's my understanding of it too, Dan.

Main point is that Netscape will not be developing their own Java stuff anymore (includes JVM/JIT, Tools, etc.) but using stuff from other vendors.

Netscape has stopped work on the Java version of Communicator (thank Heavens--Communicator is slow enough as it is, written in Java would be a nightmare) and many other server-side Java projects.

Javagator (stand-alone Navigator) will remain. Though, I guess there's not much to that, anyway, cause Sun will have written most of the code.
