hi Scotty, it looks like QCOM will be down today. earning estimates cut. contracts cancelled. my QCOM put was so high risk i only posted it to you privately, and have felt foolish about the trade all week. did open some longer term calls in diamond multimedia/ DIMD yest. reason- ordered a new Quantex computer two nights ago and they are using a diamond viper 330 video card. (my kinda cheap dream computer) my 486 was too slow handling three browsers, and stock edge real-time quotes and the news service feeds at the same time, and i am going to be at home much more, and am going to try using level II more in my trading, and more day trading. the Viper got really good ratings by either pc world or pc computing. lots of other companies are also using this card with pentium II machines. so sells should go up for DMID, and they might beat earnings estimates. but with sub 1000 dollar computers growing so fast there is some risk if the higher end systems selling slows. i hope no one is hurt by the Iraq problem. drillers and FGII did well yesterday. i wonder why FDX went down. ag
