Wharfie, So you're denying that the Interstate System and the Moon project and Medicare were radical ideas that made America great? And when the original "whataboutism" fails, you double-down and go in a different direction. But just to answer your Dem talking points: - There was nothing "radical" about the Interstate Highway system. Cars were becoming increasingly popular, so naturally government starts supporting popular ideas in an effort to manage their growth, improve commerce, and collect the resulting increases in tax revenue. - The Moon project was a direct response to Sputnik. It was a militaristic race, which then sputtered out once we beat the Soviet Union. - Medicare? Wow, the birth of socialized medicine is what makes America great? LOL ...
