Mason, as another without many clues, I have a scenario - SEA companies (read Gov't partnerships) just spent 4-5 years getting the European tech industry greased and spread; suddenly the Europeans are back in the game (OK, so it's by default; still works). ROK and other tigers can't afford to let the last few years of growth be lost, must stay ahead of Europe and try to keep pace with the US. Currency crisis or not, they MUST keep buying the latest stuff or they're the ones who get the shaft, losing both the money they invested as well as the money they borrowed. IMO they have no choice.

Jeff

Briefing.com agrees with you today. They said profit taking was light and orderly on Thurs and expect resumption in rally by Monday. They also expect storminess as this qtrly earnings anxiety start to work in the next few weeks. Gee El Nino is in the tech stocks too?
