Hey Herm, do you have Level II access? I've been following the Level II thread, and looking through some links there to tutorials and descriptions, and it looks like the place to be if you're making a living off your trading (ie: sitting in front of your computer all day.)

I bet I could do wonders with a level II data feed....(picture Homer Simpson drooling here)

thread, anyone on thread have any good bull put spread stks.
a great stk in this catagory is one that funds it's on margin requirement.
so the sell side minus the buy side would be credit 8 points and the margin is 10.
so for a 10 point spread you have to put up $2 a share.
ideally you would have 60 days + on the spread and it would need 11 point move up to be at the sell put side of your spread.
Like SMOD...but I have 130 contract spread on that now with 2-19 the earnings date and they expire april.
I want to create another 50 contract spread.

Herm,

Thanks for your response. I guess it is still "live and learn" for me. It just goes to show that no matter how successful you may be in one area of the markets, you can still learn a lot, especially on things that you may take for granted.

By the way, on each VVUS retreat I am adding to my long position. The move below $14 on Friday provided another buying opportunity for me. Those June 15 calls, you purchased with the intent to exercise is a classic example of a step listed in your original cc strategy discussed at the beginning of this thread. Nice move!

Live Long & Prosper,
