You need to hear what I am saying.

Reread what I said - I said that the market has started pricing in the possibility of an economic slowdown.
This is in contrast to the former mode of the market that was pricing in extended growth.

Bonds, copper, PEJ, commodities, etc are all slowing down their trajectory. China's local stock markets have been falling even after the government sales data beat the expectations by a big margin. Japan had bad economic news last night (or was it the night before). Alibaba guided lower.

None of this means that we are about to have a recession. But it points to a slowdown. The market prices in the probabilities, not certainties.

Remember what I told you about the market starting to price in a possible slowing economy? This report was not out when I said that. This is what it means to be ahead of the curve. I was telling you about the last data point before it was released. In fact, I've been saying it for more than a month.
