That's great, rimshot! I am working with my daughter on a plan like that to get her enough rental properties over the years so she can retire by the time she is 45 and just live off that income.

By you, Boise is one of the most overheated residential markets in North America. All those remote workers from Cali moved in and bought up "cheap" houses.

In the 2000's, Stephen Roach coined the term "Global labor arbitrage" while he was at Morgan Stanley. I think we've been seeing a US housing arbitrage since the lockdowns and the advent of remote work.
