There are many examples. On average you don’t get back up after getting down, because the system won’t let you, nor do you get a great life from a shitty background. It’s not how life works. This is what happened in that case of Doug Prasher. Career destroyed and so was the Nobel. Not an outlier at all. Few people get up once the straight line of progression is broken. Or, sometimes your country blows up on you. Your success is not how you will be judged.
