Banning gold might be a good idea. Makes the price go up even as mine valuation craters.

Would like to see him have TWO petitions... First, get them to sign up to ban public ownership of gold coins... And, once they do that... Give them the next one demanding the forcible surrender of gold jewelry... Maybe that's still not going to be enough to get people to wake up ? A third one... the forcible extraction of gold teeth ? A fourth... making it more efficient by putting all the people who own gold in concentration camps ? How far do have to go before even stupid people begin to object ?
