I nurtured the $hit out of my daughter... she is a clone of my wife... I think nurture helps but is overrated ... personal experience .. I come from very nurturing extended family My wife's folks were horrible.. NOT nurturing in the least... trying to reverse it did not work in daughter.. wife actually tried... but failed herself also so it is not either or.. nurturing is no panacea is all I say Jury still out on son adopted from HangZhou.. he is very sensitive but not emotive at all... quietest guy ever with many talents .. Handsome, gifted athlete .. good marks.. not stellar... mostly due to pig headed attitude... He got every advantage possible as did daughter.. we will c..
