Man, is the "new classic" ugly! (As well as broken - ditto on the semicolon required after ÿ - should be ÿ )

At least the "N", "C" "R" instead of icons is a step up. That really should be an account option, though, so that people using the new interface can do away with the icons as well.

And I also like doing away with the logo. I've been asking for that for a loooooong time!

The whole idea of "classic" is to minimize the clutter. You've got a fancy interface for those that want it. Give the rest of us a REALLY plain one! WHITE background. Minimize unnecessary space-wasters.

Why not add N C R to the *old* classic, dump the logo, and be done with it? I think those of us who want the classic will be happy then.

Coke brought back the original. Period. There's nothing "classic" about this "classic" except for the name.

Now, we all understand that you've changed your information sources, and that necessitates a minor change. And I do think that the clickable links on each stock is a better way to access the news, etc. and is a step forward. So, just make that one change.

Oh, yes, there is one "advanced" HTML feature that you CAN use to make our life easier - when we click on N C or R, please open up the research in a SEPARATE window. (Use TARGET= in the <A> tag)

I suppose there could be a debate as to whether this should be a single window, one window each for news, chart, and research, one window per stock, or one window each per stock for news, chart, and research. Personally, I prefer the latter, as it allows me to keep stuff on my desktop if I want, and it's really not THAT difficult to hit the "close" button when you are done with a page!

In any case, what we do NOT want is the quotes/order page going away when we open research pages! This should be applied to the "new" format as well.

Oh, yea, one final suggestion - PLEASE get a copy of HotMetal Pro, or some other HTML editor that does syntax checking (or another syntax checking tool) and check your HTML for browser compatability BEFORE publishing a new interface!
