Re: Young Folk Portfolio ... Buy and Sell Adjustments.

In looking at the overweight positions in this portfolio I noticed that COST has not only grown to be one of the larger positions in this portfolio but the valuations are so rich I thought it best to trim COST back down to a full position. COST is currently selling at 48 times earnings when it normally sells at just 25 times earnings.

With the proceeds from this sale, I added to NVDA, SNA and DHI.

Trimmed:

COST - 4 shares

With the proceeds from those sales I purchased:

NVDA - 3 shares
SNA - 5 shares
DHI - 3 shares

Here are the important facts.

The positions I sold represent the following:

Market Value - $2,182
Income - $12
Yield - 0.58%
Dividend Growth - 11.90%

The positions I bought represent:

Market Value - $2,343
Income - $31
Yield - 1.35%
Dividend Growth - 15.1%

Bottom Line:

A little more immediate income, a slightly better yield, but more importantly greater dividend growth going forward.
