In comparing the US with South Africa, is it fair to say that you believe the US to have a history of systematic racism and brutality against the non-whites like South Africa does? And that in terms of education, poverty levels and inequality divide the US demographics mirrors that of South Africa?

You also left out the role of training and education in this mess. Taking you at your word that the US is a much harder and harsher country to police than Germany or Norway, then one would think that the police should get so much better and longer training than their cohorts in those countries. Unless, of course, if the lives they take don't matter. In which case the only training they need is how to shoot to kill.

I think you actually agree more with the BLM folks than it appears at the first glance.

PS Canada and Australia are not all whites and the difference is not explained by race or language.

PPS I was in London, UK just before the pandemic. It is as multiracial as any US city.
