Quick question: Would you bet your career on a company that LIED on their financial reports for three years?

Seriously, none of my potential clients has EVER asked for IFMX, except for one in Singapore.

At the level of purchasing a major Data Warehouse, perception means far more than technical considerations. Do you think the guys buying these things are technically competent DW professionals? NO WAY. Most projects are lead by COBOL guys who created some major OLTP app 5 years ago and keep asking stupid questions like "how fast can you update 1 row?".

BTW: my standard response is "I don't know, I've never been concerned about updating 1 row... I'm far more concerned about updating 1,000,000 rows".

Again, perception and comfort is 90% of the sales battle, and most people today are talking about 3 things: ORACLE, IBM-DB2PE and REDB.
No one talks about MSFT, SYBASE or IFMX.
