Cents--

My hat goes off to you sir. I am running a one stock per person contest on another thread and it is an effort just doing that. Tracking everyone's buys/sells, which can be numerous, must be a pain for you.

Nevertheless, the suspicious nature of people (in a contest that awards no prize, no less!) would lead me to think that unless we all get scanners and scanned our confirmation slips and EMailed them to you and then you post them, you'll always have people questioning the veracity of posted trades.

Some of the stocks that were posted recently had been volatile and thus the apparent suspicions. Keep in mind, some people work for a living or they are tracking their stocks and don't always get around to posting in split second elapsed real time.

Nevertheless, it causes me to offer the following:

If you don't believe the accuracy of the posted transactions that people make in a contest where the reward is zero, why would you believe ANYTHING else you read on SI?

But then again Cents, I think there might just be another explanation:

When I was a child, I played childrens' games. When one of the players got way out ahead, it wasn't uncommon for one or more of the other players to quit and go home and complain about the rules and such.

Now I am older, but I guess some things never change.

Keep up the good work. I'm still in the contest.

TG

I am not in competition with anyone here, and don't intend to be. This is a fun thing to me and helps me achieve some goals. It makes me think twice about buying and selling. Some good input here. Let's not get competitive.
