I didn't, read my comment again... Although, much earlier they were also immigrants, they did originally migrate from Asia over the Bering Islands and then down into north America where they finally settled... GZ

Oooooooooops, I just re-read your post, I thought you were referring to American Indians... Well, actually, African Americans are also immigrants although early on I don't believe they migrated here willfully... If you mean that only those who arrived here on their own free will are considered immigrants, then you're 100% correct about that... Before anyone arrived here, ONLY the American Indians were here and they too migrated from Asia... GZ
