I think TDOC is a part of some trends that are real and welcome. another one: Companies are going back to having company doc as a way to contain costs. I think both of these -- remote visits and company docs just make good sense as a way to contain healthcare costs.

Some years ago when I was teaching at a community college -- they had a campus doc just for faculty. He was quite good. I could always get in to see him within 2 days. Last I heard he had left the community college gig and is now working for a local tech company -- doing the same thing. It's a win/win.

I work at a small company -- the guys just added both of these (company doc -- shared?? and e-visits with him) in addition to insurance.
