Another consequence of de-urbanization is that political power is shifting away from major cities to rural areas and small cities. IOW.........population shifts that are now taking place across the country will more and more determine election outcomes. The upcoming mid-terms will tell us whether or not transplants from the cities are adopting republican policies or not. I believe the dimms have screwed up so badly that it's already a given.
