I was here on the IOW in 1969 and 1970. In fact both my parents and grand parents were with us during the time as were were resident on the IOW. They all survived the outbreak. There was not even one "covid" type restriction during the whole Hong Kong Flu episode. There seems to be a lot of data to back up my view as well.
