Yes, the sudden reversal in QCOM's business, and the 10 point drop in their stock presents an opportunity.

Will there be a better one? I don't know.

If you have the stomach to stick with Intel's ups and downs, you may be prepared for Qualcomm.

Long term, I expect Qualcomm to be the dominant force in wireless communications in the next century. Their technology and investments (including Globalstar) position them at the forefront of cellular communications.

In the short term , they are clearly subject to the SouthEast Asia economic crisis.
