One of my GMI room mates who did very well in his GM career lived in Gross Pointe.

He loved it there and owned 3 boats. Probably each one bigger so he could fish farther in the lake.

Sadly he called me to tell me of his cancer, which consumed him. SIGH.

One of those extremely good car guys who really got it.

For several years we talked about his status of being a Brand Manager at Chevrolet. He was on a confidential program that when introduced was extremely successful - the AVALANCHE, built on the suburban chassis.

I drove several for years and loved the people hauler/ pickup easy conversion.

Ed Schoener RIP peace roomy. So sad.

He loved Lake St Clair!

So you are on the river eh? Also deluxe and better.

Nicest place I lived in was Bloom Field Hills. As an 18 year old GMI student working in Chevy Central office (which kept me off expenses) a most generous family, the sister of a fellow GMI student allowed me to join their family for 6 weeks.

That generosity not only happened once but twice and for a period of 18 weeks I lived in non family people's homes for a total of 24 weeks while being assigned in Detroit.

You can say what you want about Detroit, but I have been a recipient of their love and unbelievable generosity when I was a teenager in need.

There is love in that city!

I have reciprocated to two friends who needed help, and provided a home to those in need for over 4 years.

One needs to repay the gifts of life that were given! IMO

I've also sponsored two GMI students for the 5.5 year terms.

I've been blessed with generosity, and then good fortune in investing.

I hope to do much more, but am conservative on managing my wealth.

In between karma has been good to me.

Bob

Nice back yard.

Those open borders allow all those Canada Geese to become immigrants too eh ? LOL

SHEESH, our borders are being over run!

My Dad took me from the age of 12 to Horican WI. Marsh for our wild Goose Thanksgiving meal. Just a country boy by birth!

Wouldn't have it any other way!
