Hey Chief: You want to hear something ironic... I'm not afraid to take a hit on a penny and drop a few K, but when my teens take 50 bucks and spend it on few of these weird punk CD's, I give them s--t for it...

Your right when u say "addictive"...

But it sure beats drugs all to hell...

My, my, Chief...the last paragraph of this post earns you the Comic Relief Award of the year ..the tears are rolling down my face. Wanna borrow my glasses?

The rest of the post is rather insightful for us beginners and telling in that you have identified the ADDICTED who are out of the closet....the rest of us are not ready to sign up for SI/Traders Anonymous just yet.....we haven't lost enough money.

I like you sense of humor! Your brain is obviously not as old as your eyes.

Your bang on with your point that the investors that got burnt on BRE-X were the ones that got in when it was 300 material. However, the guys that I know that got pounded on it still viewed BRE-X based on its origins as a penny stock even though they purchased when it was part of the 300. Two buddies that bought for under a dollar rode it up to $100 (before the stock split) and got out.
