Off topic: I'd like to see how well it works when it's not just paper... I've been developing a trading system myself that I plan to run as paper trading and I am including a random fill time from 1-5 minutes. I wonder if there are trading systems for futures which are basically instantaneous or if they put some delay into the model. Do you know if there is a thread for this kind of thing? I'm just getting started with development and in the beginning I am just trying to get it to spot trends.
