If you didn't have double standards, you wouldn't have any standards at all.But, I digress. I'm not brushing any murders aside. You might have missed the part where I said that people accused of homicide should remain in jail until after their trial. -- "pretending that the increase in violence is a result of "systemic racism" that will all magically go away once we get to BLM's "promised land" Prolly better not to pretend, cuz then we'll have to pretend that the decades-long decrease in crime is also a result of the same systemic racism. I think the increase is a result of the covid thing, and I don't expect it to go away until a lot of people are behind bars. That will prolly be done with the aid of good old-fashioned police work, rather than magic. . As for getting to the Promised Land, every journey begins with a single step, which, in this case means admitting that there is racism built into the system. That may be one more step than we can handle..
