Wharfie,
How's the recall of the DA going?
One thing is for sure. He all of a sudden transformed into Mr. Tough On Crime.

He's trying to pretend that he's doing his job, and that he's filing charges every time a perp is arrested.

Of course, he conveniently ignores how many times he has dropped those charges or allowed defendants to plea down to misdemeanors and get credit for time already served.

I have noticed, though, that the local news coverage isn't very friendly toward Boudin anymore.

I have also noticed that Boudin is no longer pretending that the recall is part of a vast right-wing conspiracy by Trump supporters.

But to answer your question, I think he will indeed be recalled. The only thing that could save him is a sudden reduction of crime in San Francisco (and Oakland) between now and early next year. And despite the best efforts by the Democrats to try and address the problem, that would take a miracle.
