I never liked the subsidies, but why be selective? I'm more worried about space and the divvying up of the moon. I can drive my own car, thank you. Commies should not get the moon. Plus I think there's something going on with communications and power in the near future. Tesla (Nikola) foreshadowed it with his power towers. Power through the air. Concerns? Starting to look like the bets have been placed and Brandon et. al. are not with us. I wasn't sure which book you were referring to earlier. Patton?

If Tesla becomes the standard for battery technology the sky is literally the limit. Cars to Tesla are what books were to Amazon.
