Bosco,

My recollection (fuzzy as it may be) was that Granite was developing both Gigabit Ethernet MAC technology as well as the switching interconnect technology.

The main point (as I see it) is that Cisco bought Granite a year before Bay bought Rapid City for significantly more money (~$225M vs ~$150M), but the Accelar is shipping now. Where's the Granite box or technology? As far as I know, it's MIA.

Cisco may be big, but Granite seems to be an awfully big misfire to write off...

Regards,

Lerxst

Bosco - is my math correct?

Cisco + Granite = "goose egg"
Bay + Rapid City = Accelar 1100/50 and 1200/50 or fastest selling product line in history of company.
