Today's Commentary: 02/06/98 (aice)-dram up

Trading activity on select popular devices (16 meg FPM, EDO) remains limited, most buyers are in a "window shopping" mode. Pricing moved slightly upward on EDO product getting closer to the Fast Page Mode product. The Intel CPU market remains stable with new product P-2-350 MHz being used and P-2-400 MHz ramping up to arrive in the next few months.

John,

I'll be quite frank with you, I really am having a difficult time following your plan...doesn't mean it isn't brilliant...I just have no idea what you are trying to do.

The further out you buy PUTS the less volatile they are, the more expensive they will be, and the higher the commission you will pay to buy and sell.

I guess what confuses me is that you are buying today, where MU has n/t support instead of two days ago when it was up against overhead resistance.

As far as MU being at 30 by feb expir I think the probability is less than 50% so why go that route.

Good Luck Trading

DavidG

PS: I always thought you were l/t positive on MU.
