Wharfie, That was then. Too bad the wheel kept turning. Now it's just the opposite. Then why not change the name of the Democratic Party? After all, the Washington Redskins changed their name. Squaw Valley in Tahoe changed its name. Schools in San Francisco named after Washington and Jefferson are changing their name. Even Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben are no more. But here we have an institution who's entire history is filled with slavery, Jim Crow, KKK, and white supremacy. Yet no one on the left wants to change its name.
