US West bought some HDSL equipment from PAIR for a trial run in Phoenix. If they had been successful, it might have led to further orders, but there was no order for more equipment that was lost. Greg

We shouldn't forget that US West still uses pairgain's hdsl modems for T1 lines. I assume the US West slam was only related to the phoenix residential/business megabit services. Just think we know about these PG Flex customers: (I got part of these from Wessels Arnold on 1/8/98) Sprint US West > more significant orders Q1 => Wessels NYNEX Bellsouth > more significant orders Q1 => Wessels Ameritech Bell Atlantic Wait for the announcements of the other RBOC's and watch pair zoom... Southwestern Bell possibly in march.
